Don’t Forget – Christmas Party Saturday!

“12 Days Of Christmas”

1 Forward Roll

2 Burpees

3 Pull-Ups

4 Toes To Bar

5 Box Jumps

6 Kettlebell Swings

7 Double Unders

8 Wall Ball (20/14)

9 Deadlifts (185/115)

10 DB Push Press (45/30)

11 DB Thrusters (45/30)

12 – Hundred Meter Run (1200m Run)

 

This workout is performed just like the song. 1, 2-1, 3-2-1, 4-3-2-1, 5-4-3-2-1 ……..12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

 

We will be having a Christmas Party Saturday at 9pm for all the local CrossFit gyms and their members. It will be hosted by CrossFit Mid-County and if you would like to attend please follow the link and RSVP to the event on Facebook. Hope to see you all there!

 

Holiday Schedule:

Monday, December 24 – Open gym from 10am-11:30 am. You can show up anytime during these hours and do any workout you wish or ask a coach to program a WOD for you!

Tuesday, December 25 – Open gym from 2pm-3:30pm. You can show up anytime during these hours and do any workout you wish or ask a coach to program a WOD for you!

Wednesday, December 26 – 6am, 11:30am, 5:30pm, 6:30pm (NO 5AM OR 4:30PM)

 

Monday, December 31 – 6am, 11:30am, 5:30pm (NO 5AM, 4:30pm, OR 6:30PM)

Tuesday, January 1 – Open gym 11am-12:30pm and 4pm-5:30pm. You can show up anytime during these hours and do any workout you wish or ask a coach to program a WOD for you!

    Completed the 1200 m run then got cut off at 30 min.. Actually all of 5 am did.. That was a long killer WOD!

    Very Interesting WOD! Thrusters took every little bit of energy I had left but I managed to at least knock out the 1200m run.

    I was going to take the day off of CFB – 4th day in a row – but when I saw that ugly mug with those permanently sunburned rosy cheeks, aka Santa sans white beard, I had to do the “12 days of Christmas.” 32:49. Race down to the wire with Zack barely outrolling me at the end. That was a fun one!

    The 5am crew set the bar for today. They were my guinea pigs and after their class I knew we had to switch it up so people wouldn’t have to use multiple bars. I decided to call an audible to get through the warm-up and workout a little faster. We switched the snatch with a forward roll and changed the thrusters to the dumbbells instead of the barbell, but we also made the deadlifts a little heavier! This one looks really fun, I can’t wait to do it at noon.

    I was wondering how 5:30 would go with all those bars! Im glad the snatch got changed. By far my least favorite movement.

    Fun workout. I felt pretty good until thrusters then I hit a wall. Ended up with 39:10. Wanted to get it under 35, didn’t happen to today. Forward rolls were fun too.

    I am absolutely jealous that I did not get to this. The 12 Days of Christmas wod is something I was looking forward to. I might do this Saturday.

    Atleast without the snatch I can RX this. I am so incredibly stoked for this and have been looking forward to this all year long! I am on day 4 and am hoping not to be able to move Friday. In fact, i’m somewhat expecting to be quite a bit more sore…thank goodness i’m working from the comfort of home. Bring on the “12 Days of Christmas!”

    36:47 DL103 and DB15#, all my pull ups and T2B were RX!!! And for me, that is huge!!!! Neal singing was quite entertaining!!!

    Finally got to do this!

    23:09 w/ 225# deadlifts. It was a hell of a lot of fun until the round of 11. I had so much fun coaching these classes yesterday!
