Thruster 3-3-3

 

For Time:

10 Thrusters (135/95) (if heavy barbell thrusters give you problems, USE DUMBBELLS!)
15 Pull Ups
400 M Run
20 Thrusters
15 Pull Ups
400 M Run
30 Thrusters
15 Pull Ups
400 M Run

 

There will be no 10am class on Saturday but we will have our free class at 11am. We encourage everyone to go to the grand opening of CrossFit Bridge City.  RSVP for the event here on facebook. There will be a free intro WOD at 10am at bridge city followed by the members only workout at 11am.

    This WOD looks fun… Thrusters are not my favorite, but I like me some pull-ups. Although my ripped hands aren’t loving them much lately.

    Thrusters are tough. I want to RX, but not happening today. After 1 and 1/2 thrusters using 135 lbs., I decided there’s no way I’m doing 60 of those. Did the WOD in 15:50 with 95 lbs. and R/B bands. Probably need to cut back on the use of those bands too. Fun workout this morning.

    Did #115 thrusters and my shoulder went a little tight, so I went down to #85 for the WOD. I was able to do the pull ups only going down to a red band. A Good Day!
