Squat Snatch Review
Take 7 minutes to find a heavy single – NOT A MAX
Once every minute for 15 minutes complete 1 squat snatch. You can move up 5 pounds at a time only after you’ve completed a given weight for two consecutive minutes. If you miss during any minute you MUST go down in weight. You only get two attempts per minute.
November 12 is the Houston Competition Hammer & Chisel hosted by Atomic CrossFit. If you’re looking to carpool post some comments and get a group together. We have a lot of athletes competing so if you want to come show your support there will be lots of CFB & CFMC athletes to watch.

This is a pretty cool idea to find your max and get good form. Sounds kInda fun.
My wife and I are going to the competition and staying the night before. So if anyone is planning on staying the night before we have room for three more. Just not sure about where we are staying yet.
The third clue for Hammer and Chisel is a trail.

120lb snatch. Frustrating wod, but good to work on my weakness.

Feeling better since coming back from the long break.
130# squat snatch. failed 135 about 7 times which pissed me off. but fun wod with everyone
as for saturday…did NANCY rx at 18:50 which i was stoked about. surprisingly i think i could have done better. round 2 was on 13 and dropped it accidentally and then failed the snatch twice. not sure what happened. did this wod a year ago exactly and used 65# and got 14 minutes so a was very happy
175# snatch that’s my old PR from almost a year ago. It’s great to finally be able to do it again.
