WOD 7/2/12
12 minutes to establish a 3RM STRICT Weighted Pullup. NO KIPPING!
-then-
5 rounds for total time of:
Run 200m
10 Absolutely Vertical KBS 32/24kg
15 Burpees
*Rest 2 minutes after each round.
Be as strict as you wish on the “Absolutely Vertical KB Swings”. If you’re gearing up for competition try to do them to standard. If you’re working out for general fitness and just love CFB, then do the KB Swings as we normally would.
Mark your calendars; We will be holding an event Sunday, July 15 from 1-3pm. It won’t be a competition; just a bada$$ workout we hope everyone is willing to take on!
We will only have the 11:30am class on Wednesday, July 4. You can guarantee it’s going to be brutal.

It took me 27:10 to do all this. Burpees got tough but I just kept moving and thinking about that two whole minutes of rest coming up! Used a 35# kb but most of my swings probably were not absolutely vertical. I fall in the “just love CFB” category!

70# DH Pull-ups. I got 80# two times.

35# on the pullups, 21:20 (subbed row for run, 70#kb normal swings). Did manage to string together 3 unbroken muscle ups today!!!!
19:27 w/ 70lbs. Felt good today, slowly starting to get strong. I was gunning for Scott the whole wod.
22:47 RX’d. Had a 45# kb just in case the 53# was too much….kept going with the 53# I agree sheree burpees got tough!

Wayne! I wish I could get up to Dallas more often. Everytime I come to visit (usually holidays) the gym is closed for the few days I’m there.
