 WOD 12/16/11

Push Jerk – 5 sets of 1 at 80-90% of your 1 rep max (start from racks)

If you don’t know your max then work up to a heavy weight and complete 5 heavy singles.


For Time:

500m Row

30 Goblet Squats (55/35)

30 KB Swings

30 burpees with a 12″ jump (do burpees underneath a pull-up bar 12” above your reach)

30 Toes To Bar



We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On December 26th we will have classes at noon, 4pm (womens class), and 5pm. Classes will resume normally on December 27.

    10:07 this morning with 45 lbs on GS/KB’s. Sean said it’s time for me to start using RX weights occasionally (at least once a week). I haven’t RX’d a workout yet. I’ll start sacrificing quicker times for the heavier weights and see what happens. It’s interesting Sean said that this morning because Mike mentioned the same thing to me this past week. Time for me to step up my game and see if I can get to the next level.

    I was beginning to wonder if anybody went today. Scott, Sean will push you…and he doesn’t allow any whining.
    I always knew you were fast but didn’t realize you were not RXing. I agree, it’s time for you to kick it up…Kick it WAY up and maybe I won’t always be last! Hey, you won’t have to put up my equipment while I’m finishing up or recovering!
    In truth, you are a great example to follow and adding weight will be great for you!
