The coaches at CrossFit Beaumont come from diverse athletic backgrounds and experience, but they all have one thing in common, they care. Their passion and commitment to helping you achieve your personal fitness goals is what separates us from other gyms. We know every member and their fitness goals, and strive to provide the training, education, support and motivation to meet these goals. As a coaching staff, we are committed to pursuing excellence and pushing you to thrive, not just survive. We are invested in taking care of you and take pride in helping you to enjoy life. We are in the business of getting you prepared for any obstacle or task life may throw at you.

Afterwards I was left on the floor unable to move wondering what the hell had just happened to me. I was hooked. Since starting I’ve gotten stronger, faster, and gained more endurance than I thought possible. CrossFit Beaumont is my dream come true of bringing a new level of training to everyone willing to put in the blood, sweat, and tears to attain elite fitness.

My whole life I’ve been involved with cheerleading, gymnastics, track, the whole nine yards; so when I stepped into my first CrossFit class as a collegiate cheerleader in January 2011 I was expecting it to be just another day at the gym and no big deal. Wow, was I mistaken! The first fifteen minutes of class I was sweating more and working harder than I ever had in a gym. I knew that I had found my new sport, CrossFit. The more I came the stronger I got, the faster I moved the more I was hooked. I love that the hard work we put in constantly reaps results and that no matter what you’re doing there’s someone there pushing you or dying along side with you. Training others has been the biggest blessing and I love seeing our community at CrossFit Beaumont thrive!

DEVON BRACK

I played multiple sports in high school and also a football league in Japan while serving in the United States Navy. I began coaching athletes in weight lifting along with speed and agility training when in high school. I started Crossfit in February of 2013 and began coaching shortly after in June. I love the competition and I am easily in the best shape of my life with the help of Crossfit.

Since discovering Crossfit in 2010 I have achieved a level of fitness I never thought possible. With the help of the Crossfit Beaumont community, the fundamental changes in the overall health and wellness of not only myself but my entire family have been nothing short of amazing. I have been privileged to be part of the amazing coaching staff at Crossfit Beaumont since 2014 and I look forward to working with our members to achieve all of their health and fitness goals.

I was always an active person growing up; playing soccer competitively, while dabbling in other sports like track and gymnastics. After my first CrossFit class in 2011, I was hooked on the competitive yet friendly environment of CFB. Ever since then I’ve pushed myself to become stronger and faster than ever. Coaching at CrossFit Beaumont is an amazing experience which has allowed me to help our members surpass all of their health and fitness goals.

Growing up I always wanted to be a ballerina! I stayed active in dance and in swimming throughout the years. In 2012 post college I needed some structure in my workouts and habits. Oh my did I fall hard for Crossfit! Since joining Crossfit I have found a balance with my workouts and nutrition that I desired. As a coach, I love bringing other people into the wonderful community we have here at CFB.

I have always been an athlete, from swimming, volleyball, basketball, softball and powerlifting, but college changed a lot of that for me. As I moved to Beaumont in 2014, I started getting into a little routine at a local gym, but it wasn’t feeding my need, just checking off a task on the to-do list. I hadn’t touched a barbell in what seemed like ages and lost sight of my self-confidence. All of that changed when I came to Crossfit Beaumont. It’s funny, reminiscing about that first day you walked in, those feelings and that slight anxiety, but it changed my life. The workouts were like nothing I’ve been through before, the motivation from other athletes, who were complete strangers then, was a new concept all together and the fact that we were doing it all together really changed the dynamic of working out for me.

Since joining, I have become a Crossfit Level 1 Coach, a Certified Personal Trainer and a USAWeightlifting Coach. I have crushed goals and made new ones, I’ve learned to set my pride and ego aside and become coachable and I wouldn’t have been able to do any of it without the people I surround myself with at our gym. The passion, dedication and fun put into what we do here takes ‘just working out’ to a whole new level and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

I started CrossFit back in April of 2016 after hesitantly agreeing to join my best friend, who had been bugging me to go. She knew I’d love it from my athletic and competitive background. I was pretty hooked after my first few Saturday free classes. Despite being in what I thought was good shape each workout was a reminder that I wasn’t but, each workout made me want to be my best. CrossFit has helped me through Chronic illness and makes each day better by helping me feel my best mentally and physically. I absolutely love that there is no limit to what someone can achieve in this gym when they work hard. Being a coach lets me give back to others what CrossFit has given to me. I love pushing people to be their best each day and reach new goals.

I’ve been around sports my entire life. I played the big three growing up: baseball, basketball, and football and I continued to play baseball into college for five (5) years. I’ve seen and met all types of coaches and I’ve learned many lessons from them all. Coaching and teaching have always been passions of mine. Helping others set goals, seeing their journey, and helping them achieve those goals is something that really drives me. Crossfit has let me continue these competitive and coaching passions on a daily basis. We have great coaches at CFB that bring their own flair and styles which let myself and members gain a wealth of knowledge to continue to set and achieve goals.

Playing soccer my entire life I had always been in decent shape but never what I would consider good shape. I would go through the motions on the field but off the field I was lacking, poor nutrition and no drive to do any sort of working out. Once I graduated from Lamar University in 2015 and started working a full time job I noticed the pounds started adding up on the scale. I started hitting the gym and watching what I ate and naturally saw results. But after about a year or so of the gym scene I needed a change. I got tired of going through the motions in the gym and making myself do the same mundane movements from week to week. I ended up trying a free classes at CrossFit Beaumont and was hooked. I was discovering new movements, pushing myself harder than I ever had, and most importantly was feeling and moving better than I ever had. Soon after I received my Level 1 Coaching Certificate and began coaching part time. Then I realized not only did I enjoy hitting milestones myself, but I enjoyed it even more whenever I helped someone achieve something they previously thought they would never be able to do. Time kept passing and I slowly coached more and more up until the point where I left my miserable 9-5 office job and became a full time coach at CrossFit Beaumont. Now I’m able to help people not only achieve pr’s inside the gym, but help them become more fully functional people outside of the gym as well!
