Dean During A Competition at CrossFit Central

Tabata Mash-up

Tabata is an interval protocol which has 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest repeated for 8 intervals for a total of 4 minutes. With this workout you will be completing two tabata intervals (8 minutes total) alternating each work cycle between burpees and push-ups. You will need a stop watch so you can know when to start working and when to rest.

The way this workout will look: With a running clock do as many burpees as possible in the first 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, then do as many pushups as possible in 20 seconds, rest 10…and repeat 7 more times. The workout will last exactly 8 minutes. Your score will be your total number of reps completed. Post score to comments.

Thats fine. There are no ego’s at CFB so no worries about dropping to your knees. As long as you’re pushing hard the entire time. Great work Stefan.
