Clean & Jerk – Find a heavy single

 

“Running Grace”

3 Rounds:

10 Clean & Jerk (135/95)

400m Run

 

The first workout of the CrossFit Open, 13.1, will be announced tomorrow. On Friday evening we will gather to take on this WOD as one big community; to push each other and show ourselves that we can run faster, lift heavier, and go longer than we ever thought we could. Even if you don’t have aspirations of making it to The CrossFit Games come out Friday evening with aspirations to make yourself better.

    No easy days at CFB. With only 3 hours of sleep, I was going to sandbag the WOD; but Sean and Zack said no way. Like Katy and Lauren, that was my first time to RX a Grace. 11:21. Slow, but I’m happy with the RX. Still had to earn that even with a :01 race with Sean. PRd my unbroken DUs after class with 98 (PRd by 36) which bested Zack’s PR – only to have him get 103 a minute later. Figures. Always good to have Zack and Sean pushing me at 6 am.

    cleaned 135#…couldn’t get the jerk…not a PR 🙁 11 something on the wod RX. I enjoyed it.
