Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5

start at 60% and try to add weight each set

 

Litvinovs – 10 Unbroken Heavy Front Squats Followed by a 200m Sprint.

Rest 3 minutes after each set. Repeat for 5 rounds. Add or remove weight as needed

 

Sergey Litvinov (Olympic Throwerwho this workout is named for) did this workouts with 405# at a body weight of 196#

    Rule of thumb, if it sounds Russian, it’s probably going to hurt.
    Used 135#. The first two rounds I did a 250m run at around 1:20-1:30. The last three I shortened it to a 160m run and came in :55-1:02

    My first round took right at 2 mins. Somehow I got faster every round and the last one took 1:38. Not like me at all!
