I got a 25 second PR on my mile!!! Still 9:25 but faster than 4 months ago!

In the interest of time I only did 3 rounds and finished at 22:something using only 35#.

Those CurtisP’s are just a loooooooong movement…especially when you have to take several steps after each lunge to regain your balance!

6:01 on the mile (should’ve been at least 5:50 or faster, but slowed down towards end – need to push myself more). Curtis P’s are tougher than they look. Started out RX – but too heavy. Went down to 75 # – still had to pace myself for the 4 rounds. 28:39. Slow, I know; but I’m just glad I finished that thing.

5:18 on the mile. PR by 17 seconds!!!! I’m going to start doing some track sprints and see if I can get an official mile time in a couple of months.

I did yesterdays DU/Pistol/Jerk workout and got 12:12 RX

26:06 wod. 1rd with 75#, 3rds with 95# but no weight lunges. knees just aren’t strong enough yet.

6:09 not bad for me… Those Curtis p’s are not fun! Didn’t help that I’m having a low motivation week… Gotta get back to it!

Count it. One second pr 5:39. I’m happy with that since I have felt my running has declined here lately while I have been getting stronger.

As for the wod. Dnf in the time domain but I did finish. Two Wods in a row where I wanted to quit can’t be a good sign. Used 83#

I will definitely miss Brian. He was so nice and considerate when I began at cfb. Truly appreciate his gentle nature and generous kindness. He is one of a kind.
