WOD 7/15/13

Squat Clean + Front Squat + Jerk – 10 minutes to work up to a heavy single

 

5 Rounds for total time of:

Run 200m

15 KB Swings (55/35)

10 Burpees

Rest 2 minutes after each round

 

CrossFit Bridge City is hosting a 2 man or 2 woman team competition (both RX and scaled divisions) where the winning teams will bring home custom kettlebells as their trophies. Start getting your team ready – registration begins July 15th and cost is $50/team. This wll be held during Performance ATV’s annual LaborFest in Burkeville, TX. LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT TO COMPETE AND NEED A PARTNER! We will do our best to try and find you someone to compete with. If you’re not sure whether or not to do standard or scaled division we recommend starting in the scaled division. Only sign up for the standard division if you can do almost every workout as RX’d and are comfortable with heavier weights for high reps. If you’re not sure play it safe and go scaled. Spots will fill fast so sign up soon if you want to compete!

    195# didn’t make my pr of 215 but I tried to go hvy too fast

    17:42 Dena pushed me the whole time!! Sure wish I could run faster in these kind of workouts.

    worked up to 245# on the barbell complex – Really excited to lift that much; I’ve only done that a handful of times plus with an added front squat!

    16:23 on the conditioning. Kettlebell used for each round was 55-70-90-70-55

    Also, I found a penny in the gym during the 5:30 class. Then I felt like I crushed the WOD today; they really are good luck 🙂

    19:00 RX on the WOD. I liked this one. Any we have that involves rest between rounds is always fun haha
