WOD 3/19/12

Clean & Jerk 1-1-1-1-1

 

As quickly as possible

50 Chest to bar Pullups
50 Burpees

Rest

 
With as few breaks as possible:
10 Turkish Get-ups/arm (Use KB, DB, or Barbell)

 

This was the 2nd workout at the 2009 CrossFit Games South Central Regional. Dutch Lowy completed the workout in 3:13 and finished 1st overall to continue to the CrossFit Games.

    Today is a perfect example of why I do not look at the WOD until I am in the parking lot. I would have found a billion reasons not to go today. SO GLAD I did! Got a big old 3# pr on my c/jj for 98#!!!
    10:23 for the WOD (thanks, Neal and Fara for letting me go past the cutoff and for sticking with me for those last 7!) Used blue/red for the pull ups and, surprisingly, did them 10, 10, 10, then 5s.

    I just signed up last week for crossfit. This will be my first full workout. Sounds like a tough one – I can’t wait.

    108 c&j 7:05 red, then switched to blue. My calluses look horrible but a great WOD to come back to after a long week and a half off!

    I’m feeling good Neal – a lot better now than a few hours ago. I need to learn to pace myself better – it’ll come.

    175# C&J which was my old one from last year or so. didnt get to go heavier but no fails today
