Dead Hang Pull-Ups 7-5-3-1

 

AMRAP in 12 minutes:
10 Unbroken Thrusters (95#/65#)

Broken rounds don’t count. You can rest in the rack position only or in between sets of 10. If you drop the bar before 10 reps are completed successfully, restart that round. At the end of 12 minutes your score is the number of rounds completed.

 

Great work everyone who came and did the hero workout “Nutts” this weekend. It was a fun WOD and we look forward to having more open gym workouts like this one.

    29:38 225# DL instead of 250#.

    i was just talking the other day to someone about being happy that we havent done thrusters in a while ( because we did them in warmups) figures it was only a matter of time

    I must say….I was extremely worried about our WOD for tomorrow. So glad you didn’t throw a mile run or five 800m runs or a million box jumps. Some of us need to ease ourselves back. 😉

    Fara – I think this WOD is about 10 times worse than anything with box jumps or running.

    CrossFitLight for Sheree today. Feel icky, but glad I went. 9 rds at 35#. Worked from blue/red/purple down to blue only on the deadhangs. (Kara was a tyrant and wouldn’t let me kip even a little bit!)
    And Neal, nothing is worse than box jumps…although burpees and wallballs are just as bad.

    Neal….you don’t have my knees or my behind to carry around while running 🙂 lol!

    this was definitely harder than it appeared. Went lighter on the weight cuz my knee is giving me a fit!

    53#’s 9 rds +9 did the 10th after Kara called time….so my 10th round didn’t count.

    Rx with 7 rounds. Weighted dead hangs 3 sets with 53#, last set 70#

    8 full rounds (4 @ 75 – took 5 lbs off each end – and then did 4 @ 65) + got 8 on 9th round, but no luck on getting the last 2. Definitely harder than it looked initially.

    Good job everyone!! Today was my “working rest day.” I used 35# and got 12 rounds.
