“Pyramid Double Helen” – From the 2010 CrossFit Games

1200m Run

63 KB Swings (55/35)

36 Pull-Ups

800m Run

42 KB Swings (55/35)

24 Pull-Ups

400m Run

21 KB Swings (55/35)

12 Pull-Ups

 

Normal Helen is 3 rounds of 400m Run, 21 KB Swings, and 12 Pull-Ups. In this version you will end up doing the equivalent of two Helens. Scale accordingly.

 

January 2-13 we will have a free class at 11am Monday-Saturday and at 8pm Monday-Thursday. These classes will be completely free and open to anyone regardless of experience. Tell your friends they can come check out as many classes as they’d like.

    400m shy of 2miles today (including our 400m warmup run) gave me a sense of accomplishment today! Woohoo! We all know how much I hate to run! 🙂

    29:42 with 35# kb, grn/red bands.
    I used just green band durin warmup…but since we had 500 pullups didn’t want to attempt it. 😉 Maybe next time! Getting better though!

    30:05 with green/red band and 30#kb. The best part of this wod is that it’s over! So glad I got up. I agree Fara….feeling accomplished.

    33:18 with blue/red band. did two thirds with #55 kb then went down to #45. Not a bad WOD.

    21:08 rx missed my first goal by eight seconds but beat my “second” goal. we thought 23 was more reasonable. so happy about that. also happy to see how i did compared to 2010 athletes.

    ps- since she probably wont post: morgan killed this at aroundf the 21 flat mark RX and she would have placed 11th in the womens. it was a good race with me and her. too bad it was her last wod with us for a while

    30:17 RX kb, purple band on the pullups. Glad I scaled those. Harder than I thought they were gonna be. Good wod. Glad I got to come visit 🙂

    25:26 RX. The 35 lb kb was easy but the pullups as usual kicked my ass.
