i know you normally say when a WOD looks easy its going to be hard… which might be true. cuz thrusters are hard…but doesnt seem like a lot of work here for tomorrow.
Go tall on the box jumps.
Go heavy on the thrusters.
This one is going to be fun. Time to bring out the camera.. there will definitely be some funny box jump attempts! Love the video, too. We hear a lot of those.
My legs are so sore from every workout i’ve done this week so I don’t see myself jumping very high.
I said the same thing JD after coming everyday this week and was scared to even try 36″. I ended up getting 46.5″ before I finally decided I had enough. I never missed though. I was worried about my shins the whole time though after hearing the horror stories. Once you get going it is not too bad.
This should be interesting. I’ve never tried to max my box jump. In fact, I only just started jumping over stepping up.
You would have max box jumps the day I leave. I’m so doing this next week and crushing the highest jump so set the bar high. P. S. I love you guys.
Dave – It’s been like that in the gym all day today. How many guys do you have working out with you regularly? I got an email from one of your guys, Chris Braus, and he had some great things to say about you. Keep up the awesome work!

Right now there are about 12 of us but, it fluctuates daily. Some days more, some days less. More so now that the end of the deployment is just over the horizon. My 1st Sargent even tasked a couple of chubbier soldiers to me to ‘whip them into shape!’ Haha, I am not a trainer or anything but I am huge believer in this program and what it can do. About half of my unit is from the Beaumont/Port Aurthur area which could probably translate into ya’ll seeing some Texas National Guardsman in the gym after the deployment. I know I will be there.
