First time doing a WOD as prescribed. Time was slow but happy I completed it. 17:16
Think I wore myself out doing the DHPUs with the vest. Thx for the motivation 6 am class.

13:38 RX KB – started RX then red to red/blue on pullups. Cautious/Sore right elbow. You win today Mike, Zack, Vic, Chris, etc. Did too much XF last week and paid for it with the elbow issue. Took 4 days off to rest it. I hate missing CFB. Taking Robert’s advice from now on and instead of missing completely, will still show up and subsitute another exercise if needed. As always, glad I could make it today.

I’ve got to figure out what’s going on with my body. Im either getting winded too quickly or not recovering from the day before quickly enough. Not sure if it’s heat, technique, diet, hydration, or all of the above.

Got two rounds rx in about 7 and a half minutes then my back said no more, dang deadlifts yesterday. Very disappointed right now. Thought i had a chance at a pr.

Jeremy take wednesdays off. A split will give your muscles enough time to rest.

Jeremy – Are you getting enough sleep each night?

I would guess between 6-7 hours…does that count as enough?

Well I’m not getting any better but I’m not getting any worse! 10:30RX on Helen. Got no repped a couple of times and missed my pr by 2 seconds. KB swings were easy, pull ups are getting better(thanks to all the DHPU), now my running is sucking!

Jeremy- everyone is different, but 7-8hrs of sleep a night would be better for recovery. I feel you though, because I’ve been going through the same thing. But I take days off when I’m sore, especially if I’m sore in the areas we’re working. I think it may be my diet and stress though.
