Let The Games Begin

WOD 7/13/12

“Holbrook”

Ten rounds:

5 thrusters 115/75

10 pull-ups

100m sprint

rest 1 minute between rounds

 

Join us on Sunday at 1pm where we will be attempting to do SIX named workouts back to back without rest between. It’s going to be one big terrible killer workout. Let me know in the comments section if you plan on attending. The order will be Helen, Grace, Annie, Diane, Fran,  Karen.

 

Due to lack of attendance we will no longer have open gym on Sundays. We will have special events on Sundays from time to time like we are doing this week.

    27:26 (95 lbs., RX pullups – instead of 100 m run, we did alt. 10 x burpees and 10 x DU’s). Feels good to not have some nagging ache or pain. I’m finally back to 100 % again. Now, to see if I can maintain.

    30:49 Rx on thrusters and pull ups. Did five rounds of 10 burpees, 3 rds 10 double under, & 2 rds of 30 singles.

    31:48 (75# with Greg / Red band and then blue). Tweaked the left shoulder again while doing a thruster. Not sure what happened, but decided to do cleans instead to avoid the extension effort. Neal stopped me. So I went to do pull-ups. He stopped me again. So, thinking I was smarter than the coach, I started doing one-armed pull-ups using my right arm. Neal stopped me again.

    Sigh, finished out doing v-ups, one-arm thrusters with kettlebell, and situps.

    24:13 rx. And unbroken. Beat my goal of first five sets unbroken so can’t complain. Nice job Sean and cody
