WOD 9/15/11

3 Rounds:

500m Row
10 Ring Dips
15 DB Push Press (45/30)
20 Push ups

 

Cash Out: Max Hang Cleans in 90 seconds (135/95)   If the bar is dropped before the 90 seconds is up then the set is over. You can rest the bar in the rack position or in the hang position.

    Hey, Neal! How ’bout some gel seats for those rowers?

    I do love working out with these young people who seem to have such confidence in me and push me! I love it that the coach does not let me get away with being sloppy. No worming on the push-ups! Suggesting I go to knees was some powerful motivation! (I did NOT go to knees, btw.)

    16:02 (red band for ring dips, and Knee push ups 2nd and 3rd set I will use a band next time we have high reps)

    That was a kick A$$ workout this morning.

    21 reps 95# hang cleans.

    Sheree, I will always remember you running 200’s for warm ups because you were not able to do a 400. Thoes days are long gone. You kick it now. Great job.

    Neal— they are not real but they are Isabella’s she said she took them out and put them on the table. I forgot to get them yesterday morning. I’ll be there at 5pm so I’ll get them. Thanks!

    15:44 red band, 12# (should have used 15s… I expected this to be harder on the arms. and it was hard, just I think I could have gotten thru it with 15s)

    got 25 cleans @35#

    wod + cool down = jello arms for me 😉

    17:11, 20#s, blue band on ring dips, getting in & out of these bands are a ——!
    Cashout….25 with 45#, should have done more weight on the cleans

    and btw… more people BETTER comment on this blog! i attend on Mondays, and im pretty sure the 100 burpee is supposed to happen on monday if we do not reach our 20 comment quota everyday… i would hate to have to get back on here tonight and leave 6 more comments, but i caaaaaaannnn if i need to

    this is true, cassi… i do love me some burpees, but not 100 of them before i even do my warm up, and most certainly not on a Monday after my usual Sunday cheat day lol

    Doing this tomorrow. What kind of times were posted by the guys? On another note my 4 year olds watched the games with me last night…..They were attempting handstands this evening. They don’t do that after watching spongebob

    18:28 on the wod with 55# Db. That may have been a mistake because I was destroyed for the pushups…good Wod at 9am with myself. Nobody was there so I did it naked. It wasn’t posted as a rule, so I figured it was okay.

    LOVE clint’s comment!! so true… my two boys watched the CF games also, but they have been trying to do crossfit since I first started, soooo cute! and now they have CrossFit Kids thanks to Kara and Neal

    Don’t remember my time on this WOD from 6am, but I do remember that it was a real shoulder killer!!! Good times with the Rooster Crew while I am on this turnaround……….
