I believe my best moments were any movement involving weights. 35#KB No problem, 20# DB Thrusters and farmers carry not so bad, 135# deadlifts…well I killed em :).. now the 20″ string jump and the run on last workout hurt me in this competition bad :(. But at least i know where i’m lacking and will not be in the next one 🙂 Thanks for a great Day I had a blast!!!

My first comp…EVER…of ANY KIND! I’ve told y’all I’ve never been ANY kind of an athlete in my life. Best moment: The first wod and I kept hearing cheering for me. ME! And 2 of those were yelling, “Mom!” It was great. I had SO much fun. Lots of thanks go to Serennah who was my counter and a great encourager. Thanks CFMC and CFB for doing such a great job.

I know what a 20 calorie row is and I know what 20 burpees are, but what’s Airdyne?

I enjoyed the WODs and find it hilarious that in 90% of the pictures I’m in I have a beer in my hand so I’m with Marc on the drinking

I did not enjoy the second WOD though, stupid thrusters

I really liked the last WOD even though I hate DLs and have not done them in forever. I also enjoyed the battle with Alan on the first WOD. There is nothing I liked about the second WOD except for finishing it.

Best moments – hearing everyone cheer for each other. It’s nice that even in competition everyone wants everyone else to do well.
Worst moment – seeing that the last workout had running.

As a side note, next time, someone please remind me of all the cameras around so I don’t have a dur face in 80% of the pictures. Thanks in advance 🙂

I enjoyed the energy in the room. It is so much fun to be around like minded people who are concerned about fitness and love to compete. Thank you Neal and Mr. Salinas for putting on this event for us. WOD 3 hurt so bad and it was so much fun.

Best part was the energy of everyone, and getting to meet all the people i am friends with and talk to on facebook and putting names to faces!!!

worst part… see the last WOD, knowing i COMPLETELY SUCK at running, and knowing there was no way to catch back up to the kick ass ladies in my division.

agreeing with steph about the faces! it was completely odd to see my faces i make when i zone out during the middle of a work out… it looks exactly like that… zoning out lol. someone should have told me to stop and smile or something!

    8#wb, 45#on the bar rd 1, 35# rds 2 & 3

That 800m cool down wasn’t as bad as the 800m warm up. I think because I couldn’t feel my legs. 🙂 lol

This WOD was tougher than I expected it to be. 3:18, 4:27, 4:56 RX

The best part of Saturday was seeing everyone push themselves and do things that they usually would be unable to do on an ordinary day, the worst part was when Stefan beat me in WOD 2.
