For Time:

1000m Row

50 Thrusters (95/65) scaled (75/45)

30 Pull-Ups (scaled men no bands, scaled women blue band)

 

This is the first workout for the battle of the boxes between CFB, Mid-County, Bridge City, and Lumberton. You come do the workout and we will turn in our top 4 times for the mens RX/scaled and womens RX/scaled. Our gym will be awarded points for how well we compare to the other gyms. If you need to scale the workout a little more that’s completely ok however your score won’t be able to be used for the the gym score. Only the top four scores for each division (you must do everything as prescribed in each division) will be eligible. We want as many people to come workout so we will have lots of scores to pick from!

    Ohcrap, why did I look? I used 45# for the thrusters today, so I guess I can do that…only it’s 2Xs as many.

    Good Luck CFB!!
    We think this is gonna be a fun, competitive event throughout the year. We seem to have it pretty well designed and figured out, but just bear with us if we need to work out a few kinks.

    I’m excited to sponsor the event and look forward to dropping in again at CFB and doing some WOD’s.

    13:11 RX. I really need to learn to stop taking so many breaks during the WOD; but then again, 50 squat thrusters @ RX is a lot.

    WOD has to be completed today. But the comp runs all year, so there will plenty of chances to compete.
    I’m digging the turnout and the times guys, great job!
    And Neal, you are gonna have to draw straws to see which of your 3 boxes you get to compete with each month

    9:32 scaled. I caught grief for scaling this WOD but after being out for 2 weeks because of a back injury I didn’t want to risk being out another two weeks.
